Thank you for such a wonderful week at Mar-a-Selva — the views from sunrise to sunset, the lazy days at the pool, and the wonderful meals on the patio. This was amazing. We have never been on a vacation where we wanted to spend most of our time at the house! But we have never had such 5-star people watching out for us.

Kevin — you have been an awesome house manager. Your attention to detail and your wonderful bartending skills are all first class. We have enjoyed getting to know you and your family and consider you a friend!

Pablo — you are truly a top chef. From the stuffed snapper, the quesabirria, and the beef tenderloin to all the wonderful desserts — do not miss the tres leches, the crème brûlée, the panna cotta, or the passion fruit mousse. We appreciated your friendliness, your laughs, and your willingness to expose us to new dishes.

Candy — you did an excellent job keeping things clean around us, constantly and with a great smile. Having clean laundry every day is such a joy, and we so appreciate your hard work!

There are no words to describe our experience at Mar-a-Selva! The views are like nothing I’ve ever seen — every morning was a reminder of God’s incredible creation. The house and views were beautiful, but what made the trip unforgettable were the people. Pablo, thank you for the most incredible meals and for being so patient with our picky eaters. Candy, your kindness and warmth made us feel so welcome. And Kevin — you’re so much more than a house manager and tour guide; your positivity and genuine joy were contagious. We’re already planning next year!

Thank you for an unforgettable vacation! This was our first time in Costa Rica and we will definitely be back soon. Kevin is extremely attentive, genuine, friendly, welcoming, kind-hearted, and a great bartender. Pablo’s cooking deserves a Michelin star — he puts TLC into every dish. Our first time in CR — and we immediately understood the meaning of ‘Pura Vida.’ Kevin is an amazing host; his smile was a constant greeting and his kindness endless. Pablo, in one word: ‘Delicioso!’ — he went above and beyond every meal. Robin kept the house impeccable, always with a smile. So much love and gratitude to Kevin, Pablo, and Robin!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mar-a-Selva. It was the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The food was incredible, every meal fresh and thoughtfully prepared by the talented chef Pablo. Kevin went above and beyond, and Robin kept this oasis clean at all times. The gorgeous setting, delicious food, and warm, attentive service made this a trip we’ll never forget.

We had the absolute best time! From Pablo’s food to Kevin’s drinks to every excursion, we couldn’t pick a favorite part — the whole staff has been nothing short of incredible. 10/10 vacation and we can’t wait to be back. We’ve made genuine friendships with each of them. Thank y’all for everything!

We had our honeymoon here and couldn’t have asked for a better reset. Kevin was so lovely and attentive, making sure we were happy and comfortable. Pablo is an incredible chef — my husband thinks he should go on Top Chef and win! Excursions, food, drinks, and hospitality were more than spectacular. We can’t thank you enough for letting us enjoy your beautiful home.

What a spectacular view from Mar-a-Selva — online photos don’t do it justice! Kevin, Pablo, and Robin took great care of us. We caught mahi and grouper, saw humpback whales and howler monkeys, and had perfect weather. Boys’ trip was a huge success — thank you, guys!

The view! What a view! We loved lounging by the pool and sipping on Kevin’s wonderful drinks and Pablo’s excellent food. We will definitely be back to enjoy this wonderful view and wonderful team. Thank you Kevin, Pablo, and Robin!

The villa was amazing. Kevin takes excellent care of everything and everyone, Pablo is the best chef — everything tastes and looks great — and Robin keeps everything spotless. Best vacation ever!
